I've already said I'm gutted for the season ticket holders who have missed out and I hope if we reach Wembley they are prioritised. Im taking personal abuse here, btw I've re-read what I put and I didn't direct anything at anyone in particular so some of the vitriol afterwards was over the top. I've broad shoulders, I can take it, but there's an 'element' that frequent this board that step over the line. Site admin, you need an anti bullying/harassment statement (apologies if you have one and I've missed it) cos they'll get you into hot water. If you didn't buy a season ticket for financial reasons, fair enough, I've been there too, but don't begrudge anyone that did, accept what's happened and move on.
Nope. Wasn't in the ballot. Haven't had a season ticket since 1982. Worked pretty much every weekend for 30+ years until taking redundancy in March. Season ticket purchased for next season, so looking forward to that, and to watching Monday's game at home with a couple of beers and some nice snap. To see a supposed Barnsley fan come on here and refer to another supporter who might have got tickets ahead of you as a 'c@πt' was a moment that I thought I'd never see. Grow up and show a bit of class, you ungracious tool.
Keep going mate. If that comment was directed at me, I can tell you that on Monday I will be missing my first Home game since the 3-1 victory against Tranmere in 1992 - missed due to food poisoning. I've put my name into the hat and haven't got a ticket . That's fine. Good luck to everyone that has. Have a good evening everyone. You, however, came on here ranting and f.cuking raving, bairning that if you didn't get a ticket, everyone from the club, it's workers, fellow supporters were worthless sh.1ts. You were clearly already entered into the ballot by someone in your "circle of friends" but because you didn't talk to each other, and - pardon the pun - "couldn't organise a raffle" between you, didn't know who it was. Now, in the kindest possible way, Goodnight
My loyalty has been rewarded by an almighty kick in the teeth Surely the club chould have only put the people that bought memberships for 2020/2021 into the ballot
They did. Only 20/21 ST holders could apply. I had another person in my list and couldn't add them to the application- because they didn't have a ST
You should be embarrassed that you've got a ticket while proper fans that are not absolute tools have missed out. And I'm not talking about myself, by the way. I didn't enter the ballot.
Showing off at getting a ticket is low. Moaning on here at not getting one is also low because it can make the lucky ones (who deserve a ticket just as much as them) feel guilty. You are all season ticket holders. You all had the same chance in the ballot. Feel sorry for those who weren’t lucky; feel happy for those that did. I thought we were all in this together. Cheer the lads on wherever you are.
