    I never said this.

    But after 1 year and 2 months we still don't have them back.

    And as I've said, a proper holiday abroad or going to the football are months away for me still.

    A proper holiday or going to the football aren't affordable for a large chunk of the population at any time. Be thankful you are both healthy and have the disposable income to complain that you aren't able to do the activities you enjoy.

    Presumably you weren't also funding your own household. I'm missing having my summer holiday abroad again, but these things happen in life. There is plenty of your life left to enjoy, this is just a blip.
