Government dictates how much social distancing is required inside Wembley. Wembley owners choose to cram all the fans into the lower tier. Surely either it's safe to have double the amount of fans there spread over double the space or its not safe to have the amount of fans that are there at all. It's like telling Tesco they can only have 50 people in the store at a time but they've all got to be in one aisle
I think there are a wide range of reasons, concourse size, toilets, access and egress... It's not just about seating.
I've just flipped it over as background noise while I do a bit of work and the first sight was someone pulling their face mask down to sing, then move it back into position, then the camera panning out to show a completely empty top tier. As i look up now, signs of people without a face mask, some with it round their chins, some who believe their noses are exempt from the breathing process. I've zero desire to be in a sporting venue for the forseeable future.
Good.. stay at home, don't forget to close all windows and lock the doors. You could also have a couple of masks at the ready, just in case..
But you don't need to wear a mask when seated in an outdoor beer garden? I'm not sure what the difference is really
I am and will, thanks. Nice compassion for someone with a wife who has around 3% immunity from a double vaccination by the way.
I won't be going near one of those either. Surely, there is considerably more risk from 21,000 in a relatively confined space despite being outdoors with people venting their spleens than being in the close vicinity of a handful of people?
There were 73,000 people unmasked, no social distancing etc in an indoor Texas stadium last weekend, for the Canelo/Saunders fight.
