    He's been exceptional for us but from what I saw of him during the last internationals he didn't exactly cover himself in glory.

    Loads of time to put it right though, he'll be an established international player by the end of the year.

    Edit: apparently he is in. So just disregard everything I wrote!

    I'm a little surprised to be honest. Not that I don't rate him because I do, highly, and his performances for us warranted a call up to the Poland squad so the manager could take a look. And his inclusion showed the Polish set-up in a good light, keeping tabs on their players whoever they play for.

    But I didn't think he grasped the opportunity as best he could and his performances for Poland were considerably below the level he's shown for us. I thought they'd go with tried and tested for this tournament and give him another chance in qualifiers/friendlies in the autumn, assuming he kept his form for us.
