If you haven't got any Internet then you won't be using Wi-Fi on your phone you'll be using mobile data, which you pay for, either as part of your allowance if on a contract or pay as you go. Depending on how much you have you could rip through it in 10 minutes streaming video.
If you've got a smart tv you can cast it from phone to tv. Or connect laptop to TV with hdmi cable is better.
My telly is a bit thick. But sadbrewer was asking about that on his thread. I’m off to Beggar & Gent in Hoyland.
When we went to the King George meeting at Ascot a few years back Laura's Dad wanted to watch bluey's on his phone. We told him how to do it. Anyway next morning he came to breakfast with monk on after he'd realised he had internet but didn't have a smart phone. It would have been like trying to knock one out to Tetris or snake.
When it says 24 hour pass does it mean exactly 24 hrs? I've noticed that the Man U and dirty Leeds games kick off at 6pm tomorrow. If I activate the pass at 8pm today does this mean I can watch them too? I'll have owt fa nowt.
Due to problems finding a pub, I've just paid £9.98 for the 24 hour NowTV pass. At least I can watch the other game as well.
I'm not sure you can now. I was trying out all the options the other day, with streaming at dad's in mind, and it threw up an error message when I tried to mirror from phone to TV. It also won't work on a 1st generation fire stick...it isn't in their app store and when I sideloaded it, that threw up an error message when you try to play something...even though the app had seemed to load ok. The problem appears to be that the Now app keeps getting new versions and each time some older devices aren't supported any more. I'm okay at home as the app is on my smart TV and I'm planning to connect my laptop to my dad's TV when I'm there tonight.
You get 24 hours from when you activate it. I activated this afternoon to make sure it was working OK. Just watched the BBL play off final & will watch Bournemouth - Brentford before our match tonight. But if you really want to watch Manure & Leeds should work for you.
