Thought we did well against very difficult opponents. Small margins. A bit of quality. Some poor defending and a lack of composure from Brittain. All to play for second leg.

No stand out performers for me but thought Brittain had a very good second half against a very talented opponent and Morris made a real difference.

Their on-loan goalkeeper was the difference for me between the 2 teams today. It's not over yet we seem to play better away could go to penalties.

Still got a chance but I think to score against this lot we'll need to run at them and go past a man. Not over yet but it's going to need a classic Barnsley performance in the return - but stranger things have happened.

Yeah I thought same , it was a good match we frustrated them and vice versa imo .
Thought both teams defended well and a class goal from a class player separated us.
My thoughts during the match frustrated but the after match analysis was two good teams who both have the armoury to win this . Game on in Swansea but whatever happens whoever wins this will have deserved it .

Absolutely nothing to fear at the weekend, still well in the game. Thought we did ok overall, quality finish from Ayew and didn't make the most of the chances we did create. Away from home we've been excellent, and Swansea now have a conundrum - protect what they have or try and kill the game early at the weekend, we know we have to score. Hope we play without fear and go for it.

Trying to remain optimistic about Saturday, but I can’t help but think Swansea just have our number, especially this season. Could also be the last time some of our players start/play a game together.

    All they did was score
Nothing to fear as long as we step up

A rare bit of quality in the match proved to be the difference in the end. We look far better with Morris on the pitch carrying the ball forward and running at defenders. We’re too one dimensional without him.

Poor result but I still feel really confident. Apart from one piece of quality they offered nothing. We weren't at our best but their keeper still got motm. Would have liked Chaplin to have had half an hour for Dike, who looked off the pace a bit tonight but really still fancy our chances.

Tbf that tends to be how you win games. All they’ve done is scored 5 times in 3 games.

Somebody needs to tell Brittain not to try and place the ball when he’s shooting and just stick his laces through it.

Not over yet, but we’re big outsiders now. Morris needs to start on Saturday. And I’d say the other two need to be one from Woodrow and dike, and one from Chaplin and Frieser.

I like your optimism but I feel like if they score first we could be screwed

@SouthCoastTyke responding to your comment, that's such a depressing thought :(

Woodman was very impressive and has been all season 22 clean sheets, I even think he had the flick which hit the bar covered. We need a really special effort or a deflection to beat him at this minute in time. We can do it but have to be at them from the off. Think we will have a better chance at there place.

A really good game of football. Thought Swansea defensively were excellent. One moment of class from a class player and were one down. Could of done em though, may well do em this weekend.

Agree with all that but I think Toby sibbock had his best game for us imo last night.
