Not played for Sunderland much this season. He's been on loan at MK Dons. Nearly the first thing LJ did. LJ knows a good player when he sees one.....

The support is split, the online majority, who tend to overreact what him gone, the majority I think are still happy to give him time and a chance to rebuild.

Will be interesting to see what our new owner does when we are knocked out on Saturday.

I'm not sure what to think to be honest, the players aren't great but they are better than the results and performances of the last 10 games or so. He changes formation/personnel every week and is over complicating things, I think the players are punch drunk with the constant changes.

Sounds so unlike him! I suspect Bristol City fans, Oldham fans and fellow Barnsley fans will be equally shocked!

To let you in on a secret.... it doesn't get any better over time.

It’s a big ask for you on Saturday, but an early goal can quickly change things. You would think the score line would dictate tactics for eg, get the ball in the box early at every opportunity and hope your lads get on the end of them. We will have to do similar.

I was impressed with Licoln got some very young players. The second goal should never have happened though. I noticed the board slating Scowen for never passing forward but that wasn't the case from where I was watching. Getting the first goal is way more important second leg.

Lincoln have used the loan market very well, they have lots of pace in their team. We would never had scored a goal like their 2nd as we don't press, we used to but for some reason there's been a change in tactics and we just sit back. I have my ticket and am really looking forward to getting back inside a football stadium again but don't have any confidence or expectation we will turn it around.

I thought that Scowen had a good game - his pass completion must have been high and he didn't give the ball away from what I saw. Very much the same player we saw when we bought him from Wycombe in the first place.
