At the end of the day Barnsley have been crap. They have. No good blaming the ref as has already been attempted in this thread. No threat. No creativity. Swansea's keeper has not had to do anything. The manager HAS to change tactics and start moving Swansea's defence. Midfield have to be more creative and stop lumping balls. It doesn't work in this game. Attackers have got to be more mobile and make better runs. Create something please

 

The service to our "forward line" has been very poor.
The 3 up front are currently wasting their time being on the field. I feel now that our system of play has exhausted itself.
Gone are the shock and awe tactics to be replaced with huff and puff with little or no result.
If we pull it back second half then i will be pleasantly surprised. But for goodness sake lets try to play some football.
Swansea must love playing us.

 

Well we finished 2 points off Swansea, and finished in front of Bournemouth, not much of a gap really.

Well I’m blaming the ref for giving a free kick to them that clearly was ours,and led to the goal. just because we’re not playing well it doesn’t mean we have to sit back and accept such poor decisions against us.

 

Saying that was a poor first half from us is an understatement and I don't think we can play any worse in the second. I don't think we've won a second ball yet. At the moment I can't see where a comeback is coming from but let us hope there is still some big Val magic left to sprinkle on this team.

 

I don't see Victor any worse than Woodrow so far.

We're persisting with the rapid hit and hope tactic, seemingly not realising this is the Swansea centre halves' bread and butter.

 

We’ve had nothing out of these all season long & it doesn’t look like changing now. I think we all know, these were the ones we wanted to avoid. Shithousery, decisions, poor defending, all that aside we’ve simply not been good enough over 2 legs so therefore get what we deserve. I know who I’ll be cheering on in the final barring a miracle 2nd half.
