I'm not so sure. With the exception of Mowatt they're all contracted. And I don't believe many Championship clubs will have much money to invest in reasonably big fees and big wages. And whilst there might be some interest from PL clubs (Styles is the most likely imo) but I don't think there will be much in some of our others - yet. Maybe in another season or two when they've developed further.

Reckon he'll go to Palace if they haven't filled it already

Just because he’s an ex-player? I don’t think he has many fond memories of his time there. Premier League clubs want big names, so no chance. He’ll probably go want to be back with his family.

Yep the vultures will circle chuck money about they haven't got and can't afford to spend and we'll lose our better players and no doubt the manager, and the FA,PL ,EFL will stand by and watch it going on and do **** all about it.

From what was said on the Beeb earlier, Palace appear keen to talk to Chris Wilder.

I await with interest the financial statements that will start to come out of several Championship clubs
claiming that as a result of the pandemic, they are struggling financially.

Indicative of this situation were the moves made in the market today by Millwall and Huddersfield.
Both signed players available on free transfers with Town recruiting MK goalkeeper as their first
    choice next term.

So the coach and players don't have a say then? Glad you have cleared that one up

Fully agree. We've been astoundingly successful this season with the way we've played but as the season came to a conclusion more and more teams were figuring out how to handle it. Like Neil Warnock said, it's unlikely to work for a second season.
There's still a big argument for a high energy press but it needs to be allied to more football on the floor. The thing is I think we have players who can do that and have shown that they can.
I'd imagine there will be a slightly different style of play next season as I really doubt Ismael will still be here. No doubt the owners will be looking to replace with a coach with a similar if not identical philosophy.

What makes you think we’ll ship so many players mate? Do you have some inside info? I know we’re a selling club, but apart from Alex and DK everyone is still under contract. If the right bids come in like we’re always gonna be interested, but based on the retained list I’m not so sure. If we’d been relegated then fair enough, I’d understand it more. It’s not like we have a huge wage bill that we now need to trim.

Totally get the adulation for what Val has achieved, however it’s been a freak season for so many reasons. I do think people underestimate what life for Big Val could be like under normal circumstances, at a bigger club with bigger ambition, and 30-40k fans watching the ball get leathered forwards for 90 minutes. Wherever he goes, assuming it’s a bigger club, I suspect the love-in could be short lived.

I think it’s a tad arrogant to firstly assume there is a pecking order of the owners clubs exists and secondly that we are at the top of it. If however in the near future we do recruit a new coach from one of these clubs, l would prefer that lad at Nancy :)
