Thought I'd try a new subject, see how it goes! No idea why, as I've no interest in the sport whatsoever - but found myself looking into how much it cost to watch NFL. Randomly picked LA Raiders. 17 (SEVENTEEN) different season ticket categories, ranging from $650 to $4500. On top of that they have this thing called a 'seat license', where you have to buy the right to buy a season ticket!?! Price for that, from $500 to a bargain $75000. On top of the season ticket. Single game ticket, looking at $150-200. Bargain. £600 for 3x Reserved+ STs at Oakwell. Not bored enough to check, but I'm guessing that's pretty typical of all NFL teams. Crackers.
Do you mean Las Vegas Raiders or the LA Rams? New state of the art stadium for the Raiders in Vegas. Some silly numbers in there but $150 isn’t awful. It’s much more of a day out vs. our football. Loads more going on so if it’s a sport you enjoy the value for money isn’t bad. Compared to a ticket for somewhere soulless like the Emirates anyway
Yeah it is Las Vegas Raiders. Dunno where I got LA from. Thought there was an LA Raiders. Looks like there’s waiting lists an all, so they can obviously charge it.
the las vegas raiders are the oakland/la raiders they've just moved.......again, but im not seeing seeing single game tickets at 150 to 200 dollars, im seeing them at 4 times as much first home game vs baltimore
It's just ridiculous how it works over there and the fact they can just move teams from city to city. What about all those fans up in Oakland who watched the raiders for 24 years and then they just move the franchise to Las Vegas. Do those fans go and watch/support the San Francisco 49ers?!
Ah right. Just had a quick look. Turns out they’ve changed their name 3 times in 60 years and are now in a completely different county nearly 300 miles away. Heritage.
PSLs are common out there. There are only 32 teams to support over a large landmass, it’s more comparable to getting a season ticket to Wembley to watch the Euros. If you want to compare to Oakwell, look at some of the college football tickets.
Yeah fair dos. All the reasons why I’ve got zero interest in it really. Means nowt to me, I just thought the numbers looked a bit mad. I guess most NFL fans follow their team on the telly. Which must also be $hit
