    gonna be interesting to see how this pans out. according to dane we agreed a fee that was within our means. all kinds of speculation about what that was and how it was structured, but if we make no attempt whatsoever to sign him, I'd be really interested to understand why we ever had that agreement, and why dane went public about it in the first place.

    it would make sense if it was a case of 'if we get promoted we'll try to sign him'. but I don't think that's what dane said. could be wrong like

    I'm not expecting us to sign him by the way. I just think it would be a bit odd if we didn't even try.

    He hasn't gone home. He's in the USA squad playing Switzerland in St Gallen this Sunday. His first game back for Orlando is expected to be June 19th. Funnily enough after we paid a fee to keep him around for the play offs he stopped scoring.
