When you don't follow the prem it's increasingly difficult to look at an England squad and think "yeah, good squad that". I know about 50% of those names.

Trippier should be the 1st name on the team sheet after the season he's had.

Bamford deserves to go ahead of Greenwood. If their clubs were switched nobody would be even suggesting that Greenwood deserves to be anywhere near the squad.

Sterling has had an awful season.

I wouldn’t want Dier in a Barnsley squad, let alone an England one

I wouldn't be against Bamford being in but his second half of the season isn't as good as his first half. Greenwood struggled first half of the season not helped by his Iceland incident, but has come good again. For the pair to score their last eight goals Greenwood has done it in his last 13 matches Bamford an extra dozen 25 matches.

I'd take Greenwood as I think he's the more likely of the two to become a mainstay in the squad, so I'd want to get him bedded in as early as possible.

That would be some attack to have Kane leading the line with the electric pace of Rashford and Greenwood either side, and Foden pulling the strings from a bit deeper.

Got to find room for Greenwood and Bellingham in this squad for me. Supreme talents and energy and I think when you've got Kane and DCL you don't need Watkins and Bamford as it stifles your variety and ability to change the game/your shape.

Dier doesn't deserve to be anywhere near it. Tomori and Trips have played their way in too.

I don’t think it really matters who is picked or who goes. We’ll do nowt as usual when it comes to tournaments.

I think alot of people are avoiding Bamford, because even though he's scored a decent amount, he's also missed the most big chances out of anyone else in Premier League. Will England create the same big chances as frequent? I doubt it, Leeds are very flung ho, especially when you compare to Southgates tactics.

I absolutely love Callum - but let’s be honest he’s not in the same league as Ben Chilwell, Luke Shaw or even Bukayo Saka.

He might well be a premier league player in the future but if he gets international recognition it won’t be with England. Maybe one of his grandparents’ nations.
