Should have got red card for assault on de Bruyne, if you did that to someone in street would be assault
I once tackled someone from behind on Wellington Street. I got away with it though, as she'd already been given offside.
If they started shouting at me and called the police over, I'd simply stand with eyes wide open with a look of bemusement on my face whilst making a shape of a football with my hands.
What about a shoulder charge that breaks somebody's nose and eye socket. I doubt there was intent to cause serious injury but it was clearly a cynical foul that has a touch of the Morgan / Hume about it. Quite convenient that it took out the games most creative and talented player during a match of such importance. Its surprising that there hasn't been more talk about it today. Rudiger was very lucky to stay on the pitch. I thought it was an awful foul.
