    My daughter met ant and Dec on a TV set when she was 16. She was astounded at how nasty they were, especially to each other, then flicked a switch of ott cheeky likeable chappies when the cameras were on.

    In a similar vein someone I know went on Bullseye years ago (obviously) and said that Jim Bowen was totally obnoxious behind the scenes f'ing and blinding at people (contestants included) but once the cameras were rolling turned into the lovable "let's have a look at what you could have won" chappy that everyone knows

    Ant McPartlin crashed his car whilst smashed off his face a couple of years back however he is a member of the ITV golden brigade and hey presto he is still employed by ITV and all is forgiven and forgotten about.

    That doesn’t make him knowledgable about football though all the other panellists put him to shame .
    All his quotes seem as if he’s been rehearsing them all day and he seems baffled if it goes off script .
    I don’t like how he pulls John Stones down all the time especially when most times it’s McGuiers positional inadequacies.
    Constructive criticism is fair enough but Shearer doesn’t do that with Stones imo.
