I’m sure they’ll enjoy his 1 good game in 10 with all that blowing out of his arse for everything in between.
Tbf a lot of Luton fans seemed upset to lose him. Does seem a waste of talent though not to push himself a bit harder
I agree, but I wouldn't be surprised that players out of contract become more attractive to clubs simply because they don't have a transfer fee. I'll be interested to see what might happen with player contracts. If clubs may want to commit to lesser periods to limit exposure of high wages, and if players start to look for shorter contracts for big pay days or lesser wage levels but longer contracts for more certainty.

Think he unfairly gets a lot of stick from Barnsley fans. He's had some superb match winning games for Barnsley. Luton and Sunderland spring to mind. How many other individuals have had such an influence on a single game. Morris maybe and Dike but.most have been team performances with no stand out player.
He needed a ball winner alongside him. His best games were when he played with Mcgeehan. I don't think we've replaced Mcgeehan properly. He had an edge and would have fitted Valerien's style.
That’s just it though, someone had posted on here that he played 78 games for us and you can probably count his good games with one hand. I quite liked George when he was here but he was the definition of “flatters to deceive” in my opinion.
I don't think McGeehan could cope with the more technical nature of the championship, and probably why we ultimately shipped him out.
I remember that more for Jacob Brown sending one of their centre halves to the cleaners before he slotted home.
