    I think about my mam and dad at some point every day even after 20 and 15 years respectively.
    Both reds fans all their lives.

    So sad for you. My dad died whilst I was on my way to pick him up for the Bolton game the year after our Prem season. That was 1998 so 23 years ago and your message just brought it back and put a tear in my eye. It does get easier with time but you'll still get your moments and there's nothing wrong with that. Best wishes mate, your dad was a legend. Hope he was given a good send off.

    Hope you're alright mate.

    Going to my girlfriend's dad's funeral on Friday. She can't go as she lives in Australia and is basically not allowed out (I love hearing how well it's going in Australia). Like your dad he was very well known to the people of Barnsley as he was the head paediatrician at BDGH for many years, so anyone who took their kids to hospital knew him. Most intelligent man I've ever met. I'll be thinking of him and your dad while I'm at the crem.
