Don’t have to put 2 and 2 together to work out the culprits

A works van full of tools was stolen on Tuesday evening between 10pm and 5pm from the Ibis hotel in Dodworth.

Pretty sure the last piece of pork pie I'd been saving in the fridge went at some point this afternoon. Shameless ********.

I think you do. I'd be VERY surprised to find travellers have stolen caravans. It'd be the easiest job the police have had for years.

Our lasses' Dad has had two caravans stolen. On both occasions it was when travellers were in the area. The police reckoned they'd have shipped them straight out.
Was doing a patio the other week and got talking to the neighbour. He'd hired their services as he wanted a gas supply to his house. Was told they would have to connect to a supply 200 yards in the nearby rec. Cost him two grand..... after a week his gas supply was seemingly cut off. Eventually he followed the trench line into the park, to find a chamber with his pipe connected to a gas bottle.

So how was the neighbour intending on paying for the gas going into the house? Was it metered? How did he select the gas provider? Did they not think it a bit weird that Northern Gas Networks had not informed them of a new gas hub?

What amazes me is they seem to be immune to prosecution but i suppose it would be police brutality or gypsium way this worlds going.

Being away for a couple of days we missed the excitement! Talking to neighbours, it sounds as though the response from both SYP and BMBC on Thursday morning was swift and decisive. I can only think that the Police must have relied upon section 61 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, given that criminal damage was caused and the trespassers had six (or more) vehicles. Handy provision that, with no court order required.
