    Thompson in the wickets as usual. He's having a very good season which always means you have a little worry about the ECB noticing. Rashid and Ferguson a little off the boil as expected with both playing their first game of the season.

    We used to have bears, til us humans finished em off. If you drive into Warwickshire the signs show a bear.

    On the county crest. They did used to be the Warwickshire Bears, and the 50-over team still is. I guess the alliteration was too tempting.

    I had forgotten about this despite trying to get a ticket only yesterday! Sold out they said. I've got one for the Leicester match next week though.

    Watching it now, just in time to see Malan give them a simple catch :(

    Hope so. It's been a couple of years since my last visit to Headingley so I'm really looking forward to it, especially if we have this calibre of team out.

    Just got home from Headingley. Great nights entertainment and a fairly straight forward victory. Good to be back too with a crowd of around 4,000 and a sell out. Bought tickets for next Tuesday while we were there. Yorkshire had a strong side, at least for the first five games when we lose three players I think.
