Natalie, ah Natalie. Saw them in Sheffield, but can't remember the venue, it wasn't one of the usuals. May I interject with this:
Amy Winehouse; Love is a losing game. George Michael said it was the one track he would save for his Desert Island Discs and I agree with him.
Good choice, 9IN original is just as good but Cash has the age and experience to add that little bit extra. My other favourite from that album is I hung my head which is a Sting track.
It's lovely isn't it. She was thinking of her boyfriend as she sang it and it rings so true. It just feels real. It's very difficult to do that, but when someone manages it you can actually feel it.
Well, seeing as Jay nabbed Maps already, I'll have this, simply because it plays over a shocking bit of the animated series Final Space (thoroughly recommend), first time I'd shed a tear from watching a cartoon since Watership Down when I was tiny.
I don't know Final Space that you refer to, but I love that. I love this that's in a similar vein. Although I don't think it's as good as what you've just posted which is sublime.
Smile..... though your heart is Aching......holds such deep meaning personally .....got the above words tattooed on my inner left arm to the wrist when I lost custody of my daughter over 11 years ago
I doubt I'm introducing you to something new considering what you've posted, but worth a repeat anyway
I believe it was in The Lower Refectory at the University. I saw The Jesus and Mary Chain there also.
