This triggers me. I know it shouldn't, but it really really does.

So many people around here say "Mom". Mam is common, but at least it British/English/Yorkshire/Barnsley common.

    Low-key

The young uns seem to use it differently.
    "I'm low-key tired" = "I'm a little bit tired"
I cant remember ever using it in this way.

    And "a thing"

"Is a working class Tory a thing?" = "Does a working class Tory exist?"

When people say 'this', as if the stated answer is the answer to end all answers on a given subject. Don't know why but it proper grates on me.
