seems to me like its been creeping in for years. England almost always seem to play in all white now. It seems to be heavily weighted towards bands of colour, all white all red etc.
I had absolutely no idea who was in our group until today and even now i know only Croatia and Scotland. "Meh" is the best way of putting it....
The formats daft but I felt similar before the 2016 group stage due to only 8 teams been knocked out in the group stage but I ended up loving that & I’m sure I will this too. Sturridge’s last minute winner against Wales, Wales against Belgium, the Republic getting the late winner against Italy, that bonkers 3-3 game between Hungary & Portugal that meant Portugal scraped through without winning a game, it was great.
Thinking about the England team I reckon the squad is a bit different to what it would have been last summer.
I’m assuming that’s aimed at me being the OP? If I may.......... Things don’t have to be that black and white do they? It clearly wasn’t just posting something about something I don’t care about. I mentioned that it wasn’t always like this and gave a few examples of why my interest has waned over the years. I even said I will watch some games, of course I will, I like footy, despite all the nonsense that goes off at ‘elite’ level. I asked if other board members felt the same. I’m not claiming I’m Wilde or Dickens but I would like to think there was a bit more to it than what you claim. I mean if we’re going to remove the grey completely I don’t understand why someone would reply to a post to say they don’t care for the opinion of someone that they perceive doesn’t care about something.
The FA have sacrificed the integrity of the domestic league to give the England youngsters the 'best possible development environment at Premier League academies' (I'm talking out EPPP nonsense here) so we may as well get behind them.
