    But you can't just ignore that Croatia are better than Turkey. They knocked us out of the last World Cup, so they're arguably better than England and I don't think you can play the same against them. 1-0 is a good result, I'd have taken a draw before the game.

    I'd still have started Grealish to be honest with you. Although Sterling has been far better this 2nd half. As have England as a whole.

    England are winning, what's not to like about that?

    We've been fairly comfortable. And whilst it hasn't been brilliant, we've not looked in any danger really.

    Great performance, managed the game really well. Some good quality moments, Phillips outstanding. Rice quiet but did a lovely and quiet job of sweeping up around Modric.
    Trippier managed his role, never looked troubled and stopped dangerous crosses. Walker wasn't bounding forward but gave the back 4 stability. Not flashy but solid.

    I think the Scotland game is the one to bring Grealish in. Today needed playing fairly safe, against Scotland I'm not saying they'll park the bus entirely, but they'll make it hard to create chances.

    3 points, we can now set up to limit the Scots and then make changes to qualify after 2 games.
    Again all about game management, that's what gets you deep into tournaments and seasons.
