    I'll help...

    This is in order

Me: Should sexual contact be banned until a vaccine has been created and all UK adults have been vaccinated?

You: A vaccine has been around a while.

Me: But has everyone had the vaccine?

You: Jesus man. First. you said. "until a vaccine has been created

    Me: No I didn't actually

You: Should sexual contact be banned until a vaccine has been created and all UK adults have been vaccinated?

Now do you understand why a deliberate misquote that only uses half a sentence changes what I was saying to suit your agenda?

Fair point. But why not include all sexual transmitted diseases. And not Just focus on originally. HPV. there’s many STD’s that cause death. Most to my knowledge have Vaccines to either prevent at best or cure at best. To tie this in with Covid is pointless. (Crazy)
    I assume that’s what you’re aligning to.

My kids had it at school, so it's getting close to everyone under 30ish?

There is a cut off point. It works in principle the same in H&S. It's best practice. The principle works on probability. Or we would not carry out any risks analysis at work. It works mainly around Cost. of safe procedures. and number of fatalities. Do we take all transport off the roads to prevent all deaths. No. we do the best within reasonable (financial) means to reduce the risk. Covid has killed millions in the last 18 months in not only 3rd world countries but developed countries. 3.8million last time I looked.
STIs in the main are through physical contact, not generally The case with covid. To align the 2 ( which I believe is the point you are trying to make) are not comparable to one another.

It will never be eradicated because it's spread through genital area to genital area contact through touch not penetration and there is no positive test for men. There's a chance we all have it anyway before vaccination. Women find out through abnormal cells in their smear test. They can be scraped before cancer develops. Missing smear tests is more dangerous than the virus. It's a non disclosure virus too because if a man develops warts eventually they become immune to that strain. That said there are umpteen strains. Not all give women cervical cancer.

Everyone now has it as standard at school (unless permission is refused from parent/guardian). It’s supposed to be given before first sexual contact and isn’t recommended for over 26s.

I think you guys need to worry more about Prostate Cancer which 1 in 8 men will get and is the biggest killer of men in the UK. I joined the PC club just over 3 years ago. If you are over 50 or there is a history of PC in your family get down to your GP and get tested. If you have blood tests for other conditions ask them to do a PCA test whilst they are at it and don't take no for an answer.

One point for participating and an extra point for the effort needed for shoehorning STDs into the covid discussion!
