    This is what Southgate is all about and it's so bloody boring. He's living off a lucky WC semi final run at the 2018 WC. If we don't make the semi finals of this tournament then Southgate's position should come under serious scrutiny given the players available to him.

    I only ever watch Reds on tele not interested in any other team ,only watched England cos v Scotland.

    Southgate out! Why persist with Kane,who has lost all his pace,Grealish offers nothing apart from drawing fouls. The defence was good, midfield didn't need Rice but a mobile forward to play up to.
    Pleased for Scotland as I thought they would get hammered.
    England's football is pretentious a modern example of the emperor's new clothes. With the players available,they should play better football and be more confident and assertive.
    Oh well, opinions, and I know nothing about football.

    We've got lads who like to run into space, lads with express pace, lads who like to attack week in week out. So we set up not to lose, I like the Phillips and Rice to start games but with 5 subs you've got to use them to win games.
