Our owners love moving around personnel between their clubs.

One never knows what to believe any more ......... ceefax this morning (Monday Gossip) says WBA are closing in on Val.
Yet we are letting a striker go out on a season loan, without any new gaffer taking a look.

One rumour, feeds another, and the gossip never ends. I forgot what pre-season gossip entailed what with last years quick turnaround :)

    The above can only mean.

    * Val is staying, and has decided that Pat is best going out on loan for the season?
    * A new gaffer has already identified Pat is not part of his plans?
    * Someone else in the club makes player move decisions?
    * Or a blind-man can see Pat is not going to make it and they are clinging to the hope he can turn into a second tier Danish wonder-player and we can move him on later for a fee?

God only knows. My head hurts

Or... if we send him out on loan to one of our own clubs, a new manager comes in, the loan is cut short without upsetting anyone....

The third point is the most likely. Maybe a bit of the fourth point as well.

There was plenty of transfer activity last season, between Struber leaving and Ismael joining.

The 3rd point is probably nearest the truth.

Makes sense. We're not going to recoup the million we paid for him at the moment. So the options are a) cut our losses and sell or b) loan out to a feeder club where he'll get game time and hopefully bang in goals so his value rises.

Best of luck to him at Esbjerg

Not surprising at all and I suspect we've been trying to find a buyer for him for quite a while. Sadly it seems we can't find one, and probably struggling to find someone to cover enough of his wages to make shipping him out on loan to them worthwhile, hence, they spun the wheel to decide which of their clubs he'd go to, and it happens to be in Denmark.

Hope we can ship some more out who aren't up to championship standard.

    Ritzmaier
    Simoes
    Christie-Davies
    Miller
    Thomas
    Adeboyejo
    Aitchison

There must be some news due about Ritzmaier, as his loan officially ends.

Been reported that the club are looking to get a contract extension for Adeboyejo, along with Palmer.

Really don't get why we're looking to extend Adeboyejo's contract

Nope me neither. Hard working lad but doesn’t carry any goal threat.

Good for all parties, clearly lacking the quality required at this level.

I don't know about that, he could have probably done with an extended run in the team to see if he could produce... All hypothetical though, hope he does well on loan.
