We've had these sort of threads on here before, but advice as to current conditions appreciated.

Anyone point me in the direction of the best leasing deal(s) for a BMW 3 Series?

I'd like automatic and parking sensors.

Is it possible to trade in a currently-owned car (no finance) as part of a lease deal?

Any current info much appreciated. Orsen.

Intelligentcarleasing have some decent deals on Beemer

No px option on a lease. 3, 6 or 9 month down-payment then 2, 3 or 4 year term with pre-arranged mileage (eg 10k per year)

Should add I sold my existing to the car buying group (one of them works on here) and used the cash for the down-payment on my lease

I'm not looking to acquire a stake in the car given that we are increasingly being shoved in the direction of electric. But we are a year or two off that yet, so trying to hedge my bets here. Thanks.

What is the car buying group? My thinking is to use the proceeds from my current car to fund the lease payments over 3/4 years.

Yorks based, gave me a better price than the well known one.

I sold to them, used the money for the down-payment and first few monthly installments

You have a bit more flexibility as to when you give the vehicle back with a PCP. Worth considering.

Lease Loco are one of the main comparison sites now. They also have an algorithm which tracks prices over 12 months - so gives you an idea what level a current deal is at.

I went with First Vehicle Leasing. If you’re in no rush then your best bet is to contact them (and any other recommendations) first and they might have sight of deals that are incoming on your BMW 3 Series.

Can’t remember which deal hooked me in to a discussion, possibly a BMW, but over a 3-6 month period it changed to the new VW Golf 8, to Audi A3, back to BMW, and finally on Mercedes. Was all based on what they had coming over and which manufacturers were sending them cars with deals attached.

Final comment - be aware of current lead times. Due to microchip shortages, factories have slowed down. Some models can be 6+ months at least. All manufacturers are affected, just depends what they have stockpiled.

I've leased my last 3 cars and there's not much to it to be fair, pick what you want and order. I've used Select Car Leasing, they advertise on tv at the minute, and Nationwide. Select are my preferred choice as Nationwide are a bit crap at communication. My current one is due to go back in January and i need to start looking now as like a previous post said it can be 6 months although a BMW Series 3 shouldn't be too difficult to get, mine was a Leon Cupra so had to wait for it to be built. I'm looking at full electric next so may extend my current car for another year, only ever get them on 2 year contracts but you can extend

Wait til plates are due to change. Those good deals become better as they need to shift stock.

If you have the ******** youll be able to get the servicing breakdown etc all lumped in under the agreement at no extra costs.

Also, lease type depenant there will be options available at the end of contract.

    Sell return or peppercorn.
