I get that other countries in the UK want England to fail. That's entirely their choice.

I still want all home nations to do well, obviously except against us, and always go out of my way to watch and I kick every ball as though it was England.

Maybe I'm not so wound up by it, and I honestly can't understand why it exists from the "other side"

Maybe I should turn into a w@nker. (And I'm not far off in some quarters)

Scotland blew it first game against the Czechs unfortunately, They ended up with a point and a goal more than I expected.
Hopefully they can take confidence from being involved.

There is a fine line between success and failure, it is called Hadrian's Wall.

Always feel sense of support for all UK nations at football. Not too bothered whether that's reciprocated. Just how I feel as a Brit. Sorry for Scotland - but there's more to come from them hopefully. On the night well beaten I thought. Croatia found their touch - and afterall they are World Cup finalists.

Sorry Ian. Despite my sentiments above, I did have to laugh at this [IMG]

I really like the Scottish people & over the years have become good friends with a fair few but regarding football I have no allegiance , if the boot was on the other foot & England were knocked out then the Scottish fans would be laughing their kilts off & taking the pee big time , I"m no different regarding them , lets be fair it probably won"t be long before they get the chance to smile at us when we once again fail , what goes round comes round .
