A version of the Christmas line will be rolled out if we were to get to the final held in Budapest.

"It would be inhumane not to allow fans to go, we must allow this. If fans fake a test so be it, I have a cabinet room full of flags and blue passports ready to be mobilised".

purely paper talk for now but if there is some truth in it then surely those money men should come to england now, serve their quarantine period, enjoy the rest of the tournament then **** off?
they'll be riots if boris & co grant them special treatment if they do threaten to move it when our pubs are been threatened with £1000 fines if guests cheer a goal!
i'd sooner us join the copa america!

    it’s not about us.

there are approximately 2500 UEFA bigwigs down as attending the final. They don’t want to quarantine for 10 days (plenty are on the red list) so they are making noises to move the final away from London

bozo will no doubt let them in whilst making the likes of you or I quarantine.

Starmer will probably tut tut and then give Labours "reluctant" backing.

We desperately need an opposition to this **** show!!!

At least we got Brexit done, and no longer allow garlic-smelling, sneaky foreigners to tell us what to do in our own country.

So all these lockdowns have been a farce and have been subject to change by the highest bidder?
Nothing was done about Cummings and numerous other double standards since .
Oh well at least he got Brexit done so the red wallers will be fine about it all .

There's a strong polarity though between rural Poland and the larger cities. My wifes company has multiple offices there and in Warsaw and Gdansk they are progressive and supportive of diversity and inclusion.

I think it was their last election that went to a run off that showed the variance, where the current incumbent was gaining support and canvassing the rural old fashioned communities and the more moderate challenger was canvassing the bigger cities.

I think that's true of most countries the urban areas being more progressive - the rural areas less so.

There seems to be an increasingly strong alliance between Viktor Orban of Hungary and Prime Minister Morawiecki (sp) of Poland. Orban very close to Putin. I don't know if this will influence the direction the E U takes in the future.

It's really quite worrying, there's certainly been efforts by Russia to try and destabilise the EU (look at Brexit as a prime example and the now glossed over Russia report we suppressed until after a GE) and many fractions and much influence within Russias former Eastern bloc.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they try and blow a few holes in the EU map.

I was Leaver (tin hat on !) - my reason being that I didn't think the EU would continue in its present form and we may have ended up with an EU we didn't like (dominated by Russia ? ) or with no EU at all.
Not sure what is happening in Sweden at the moment - PM Lofven resigned - things not going well re EU membership.
