Not the first diplomtic crisis I've lived through, won't be the last! I'm far more concerned with the ridiculous heatwave which has descended on St Peterburg. Sitting here under the aircon and still sweating like a pig!

I would also like to know what a Daily Mail reporter was doing on board.

There was video footage from a reporter on BBC this morning. I'd guess that was a different reporter. Multiple reporters plus cameramen on a british ship that just happens to be involved in a mini skirmish off Ukraine. What are the odds?

This sort of stuff happens more than we like to think.
Reporters also do get on board for the odd week or for NATO exercises.
The royal navy (as well as many other countries) and the russians always playing silly devils. Its almost like an accepted game.
