    This story makes me sad though, it’ll be Gove as Health Secretary any second now and then it really will be bye bye NHS, especially with Dido Harding shortly becoming head of NHS too. It’s all lined up perfectly for them.

    The tory party is incredible. And certainly not in a good way.

    We endure years of lies, incompetence, evasion, gaslighting, corruption, fraud. Hancock sees off multiple scandals that any decent regime/person would have seen their stepping down, defended by his prime minister, who thinks he's hopeless anyway.

    But the tories and the media explain it all away.

    Then. At a moment of their choosing, the tories with their dossiers and archives of sleaze, decide to do a personal hatchet job, assisted by their media friends, to topple them in a way that doesn't have the fingerprints of tory corruption and incompetence attached to it.

    Incredible.

    There are strong suggestions that Hancock is becoming more of a block on reopening and was against the changes to amber list countries.

    Win win. Populists wound or topple a blocker. Murdoch sells a few more papers/ generates a bit more click through advertising.
