    Found this well tricky in terms of defining which genre films fit in and half my favourite films didn't even make the list (e.g. is godfather a drama?):

    Action: Terminator two

    Horror: The shining

    Sci-Fi: Donnie Darko (does that count?)

    Fantasy: Big Trouble in Little China

    Comedy: Anchorman

    Romance: The shape of water

    Western: True grit (new one)

    Drama: There will be blood

    Family: Where the wild things are
