    All I've heard from the folk who always bash the national side on all platforms is...

    We havent beaten a top country
    We cant beat the best

    World cup finalists & 4x world champions good enough?

    Also im tired of people announcing they dont care.

    I dont care about tour de france
    I dont care about cricket
    I dont care about f1

    But if you are into that then crack on. I wont go out of my way to diminish your passions.

    Firstly I agree with u, but.........
    Germany are not what they were.

    Secondly, we are getting majorly carried away with it. Pundits claiming we are in the final already and there's no one to fear. Did u see Ukraine lady night? They will be no push over and will be as stern a test as Germany imo.
    Then if we reach the final there's the matter of Belgium or Italy, if not fearful, certainly a bit concerning.
    It ain't a done deal just yet.

    I’m a doubter I’ll be honest. Pleasantly surprised we beat Germany but long way to go yet.
    Any of Belgium, Italy or Spain in the final would be a game at another level. Even Denmark in a semi would be pretty tough.
    That said it’s the best chance we’ll ever get to win a major tournament……fingers crossed.

    Sunlighter...we are all entitled to our opinion
    I don't know how old you are but I'd hazard a guess most of the so called moaning has come from the older end....myself included
    There's no humble pie to be eaten on my part....we've just won against a poor German side compared to the ones we the oldies have seen prior to and including 66....and beyond to present date....so I'd say us oldies have a tad of an advantage on experiencing German sides....
    At this point I will add that the present team in my opinion are boring to watch ...that is ...in no way placing any blame on the players shoulders ...as I think we have the most talented individuals that I've seen for some years...the trouble for me lies with bore gates tactics...Mr negative.....yesterday whilst we won...we made hard work of it....we could have been out of sight if only South bore gate had let them have licence to run at the Germans ...if you are happy watching what he's served up so far ...crack on ...I know I'm not.....without falling out with you I'd say don't count your chickens just yet ....we are 3 games away....from a trophy....some of us recall previous media expectations that saw folk get carried away...just enjoy the ride....

    Nowt like a few positives to Southgate and the lads achievements.
    Last 4 of World Cup,still competing in the Euros last 8, not conceded and won 3 out of 4 .
    But then there's always we're boring.
    Come on he could be more attack minded however he is getting results, a bit like marmite and big Val.
