100k fine for a club with financial irregularities? That is royally taking the piss. Isn't the granny shagger on 80k per week? How can a fine be a deterrent to any club breaking financial rules? They obviously don't care about financial constraints and that figure is ridiculously low.
Yeah, a microscopic fine for a club thats been found guilty of fudging the figures. That'll teach em.
Still possibility of a points deduction once they resubmit their accounts though? Presumably they originally prepared them on an incorrect basis for a reason... Edit: the fine is an absolute joke though
More likely they haven't appealed because they're all on the Euro 2020 gravy train at present. The only person left at EFL headquarters is the cleaner.
Whilst it would have been nice to see Wycombe replace them, for selfish reasons I would have rather they start with a points deduction in coming season.
Who are the independent commision . Able to overturn EFL'S decisions. Who are they comprised of. ?. The rules obviously need tightening to prevent such appeals and should end up with lawyers fighting it out. Did this commision get involved in the Bury issue.?
