I think WBA have just seen a successful model, and bought it. I fear this time to our detriment though.
I'd like Dale Tonge to come back into the fold in some capacity, maybe assistant. Just passed all his UEAFA badges n'all. Plus he is familiar with the club , academy staff.
Look on the bright side, it could've been worse. Everton lost six backroom staff a few weeks ago when they all cleared off to Real Madrid. and how often do you read about Premiership teams changing everyone when they change managers. We've got a target to beat and it's WBA. Let's show them and finish above them. Or better play off final and a final minute of extra time winner and promotion at against them. We over achieved last season everyone knows it hence the position we're in.. We've got time to sort things and our owners will. Imaging it happening a week before the season kick's off. If I'm not too wrong but AM wasn't the top of the popularity table. There was talk of him wanting another shot at management soon so he would be leaving away.
We've lost six members of staff too- three today, plus Ismael, Murphy and his fiancee by looks of it. Also the other bloke rumoured to be off with Murphy makes 7. I agree though I'm sure it will be fine.
Judging by how others who have jumped ship have fared, I am expecting Val to bomb at West Brom. The fans will turn on him as he'll play vertical football with players who aren't up to it. By Christmas they'll be screaming for his head and he'll be sacked with them in lower mid table. His coaching entourage will then be dismissed with him, and they'll be bitterly regretting moving with him. He'll disappear back to France, his team will be on universal credit and applying for jobs at Hartlepool. meanwhile the Reds juggernaut steadily rolls on....
It is crap but who knows, the new manager may welcome this, so he can bring in the one's he as worked with, the ones he trusts, who says that Murray was a shoe in to stay anyway
I think struber had such a big ego that he though it was all down to himself. Certainly couldn't admit his mistakes
Valerian and WBA have come across as 5h1thouses, dishonourable and moneybag bell3nds. I pray they fail. Looking at in the medium term, even just a few weeks after the seasons end you could argue Valerian's reign may end doing more harm than good. The points total means bod all now, only our league status. Yet he's walked off with all the staff and info after part of a season, in front of nobody, and a lot of that infrastructure is none of his doing.
Valerien leaving is just part of the game. After a season like this, staying was risky. Assistants following their bosses is part of the game. It is expected, whether they get a new job or the sack. But these guys didn’t follow him here. They weren’t his hires or his people. They were part of the club before him. Him taking the setup he inherited when he arrived here (and the captain!) to a rival club in the same league is different - it’s a purposeful knee-capping, betrays some insecurity about his role in the club’s success, and shows a lack of class.
Not being funny but Big val is a w4nk. Not only hes gone (fair enough) hes rinsing us as a club. No respect for us at all. Hope they all fail miserably. Yes I'm salty. Fk off val ye massive w4nk
The best response we can give is to make them all wished they had stayed at Barnsley & envy us, that'll do for me.
