Is there a kind of number of posts hierarchy on the forum where the more posts you make the more important you are and your opinions more valid?' i really can't see where we going with this..

Stop twisting my words' i;ve said a hundred times that if he posted racist comments he deserved all he got' i'm talking about posts where he wrote summat like "Cauley had a good game today", and got the reply "what game have you been watching you idiot' if you have nothing valid or relative to the post to say' don't say anything...

By the same token would you expect people to treat Donald trump with respect if he came on here and mentioned cauley Woodrow? I think it would be completed expected for him to get abuse because his past (and current) behaviour and words cause him to be treated in such a manner.

You seem to be hung up on the idea that every post someone makes is in isolation and should be treated in isolation but that's simply not true. If someone spends almost 20 years posting racist, homophobic, sexist posts and encouraging violence and football hooliganism then they will be thought about as someone who is a racist, sexist, homophobic, violent thug. They'd then be treated as such. Would you expect people to just ignore that and engage nicely with them or would you expect them to remind that person what kind of a person they are?

If Chris Corke came to my door tomorrow and started talking to me about football he'd be met with a mouthful of abuse. Using your theory he shouldn't be because his long history of appalling behaviour are separate to his attempts to talk about football.

As far as I'm concerned there shouldn't be. The more posts from more posters the better.

Nope. The only time it bugs me is when someone who rarely posts will post to say 'i hate how there's no xxxxx posts on here'. well make one then!

Yes, if someone made a post regarding football no matter who it was i would post a valid reply relating to the topic or i wouldn,t reply at all, the donald trump analogy is preposterous btw...

That's the only time someone's posting numbers would bother me. It happens semi regularly. A poster who's been a member for a few years makes a post saying there aren't enough posts about whatever yet they've never made a post about that themselves

Good for you. The majority of people in the world do however treat people differently based on their actions.

Not preposterous, just an exaggeration to prove a point. It's a common literary device.

This thread is an absolutely classic BBS thread.

    1) One poster comes on, makes some arguments not really grounded in any logic and written in poor English.
    2) People respond to this post criticising it.
    3) Original poster doubles down saying they're entitled to 'an opinion', without realising that others are entitled to take that opinion to pieces if it doesn't make sense. 4) Loads more or the saner posters pile in, aka the clique.
    5) Original poster won't admit they're wrong. Argument gets more nonsensical.
    6) Bam, 10 pages. 15 if Tomaiba is involved or someone tries to defend YN.

Nudge never just said "hello" though. Every post he made was a carefully constructed piece designed to inflame and annoy.

I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms and keep it company
I'd like to see the world for once all standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills for peace throughout the land.

So If we all want to get on everyone, including YN, needs to drink Coca Cola. Job done.

Again nothing to do with validity of your opinions - I stated I couldn't make up an opinion on you as I haven't seen enough of your posts. As for defending Nudge I have given my thoughts on that - he brought a lot of it on himself with his comments and pretty wild stories

People who make a lot of posts are on here tend to have been on here longer. So it stands to reason they get to know other people who post a lot who also have been on here longer. Then are other people who don’t post but could have been here for a long time.

So it’s like a night out. A group of people who all know each other and others standing on the outside. Some say hello and join in. Others start shouting abuse then wonder why they’re not being listened to.
