Anyone who knows our squad should know we don’t need centre halves, even if we’re selling one we still have plenty of cover: Andersen, Helik, Sollbauer, Sibbick, Kitching, Halme, Moon. There’s enough options there for a back three and there’s every chance Schopp may deploy two centre halves in a back four. I think agents have taken note of our success in the transfer market and make dubious claims we’re interested to make their clients more desirable.
