What I'm more concerned about is that the likes of the OP see something on social media and take it as gospel, share it on etc... People seem to have lost the ability to investigate further and have just become lazy.

 

I hate the word. Well, it's not a word. The word is paedophile. Pedo, peado is Sun/tabloid speak. It's what they use to stir up the dregs of society and point them in the direction of someone they can call out as more worthless than themselves.

 

Spend five minutes on the guy's timeline who posted it - be more likely to call the police on him.

 

My understanding is that after the picture of the young german girl crying was posted on social media some English nobheads posted disgusting comments about the girl.
The go fund me page was set up to raise awareness against online bullying and to show the german girl and her family that not all English people are idiots.
Unfortunately for this fella that set it up with nothing but good intentions he has been attacked by some utter morons who need to be arrested for what they have said about him.

Anyone who can find fault in the go fund me gesture needs to have a serious look at themselves.

 

If we took everything we read online with no context, we'd actually think The Full Ponty did actually eat Madelaine McCann. Or did he?!

Both seem absolutely fine for a stressed dad - tongue in cheek comments to take away the 2 kids so he can have a lie in, and thinking himself lucky to only have 2 kids rather than 5. Absolutely ludicrous that he gets labelled a paedo and that people on here are spreading libellous accusations without evidence.

 

Lest we forget, it was the 'Twittersphere' that labelled David Beckham a paedo for kissing his own daughter.

 

The people slandering him and calling him a paedo will be the same people preaching about mental health and how we need to talk about it more.

The pitchfork mentality of social media is abhorrent.

 

You may be needing it to pay for your own if you post things like that.

 

It would appear he isn't a paedophile unless you have 100% evidence to back it up.

Fact check stuff before posting potential libellous comments.

 

I ***** hate social media. For all the good it does, the bad is even worse.

Putting aside the fact that some moron thinks they're being clever 'outing' someone trying to do a decent thing (possibly misguided, but still decent), without any evidence to back it up.
My understanding is that the money is destined for a charity anyway, so we are going to have to point our outrage at something else.

 

It’s exactly why I came of Twitter. I miss the banter on there but not worth being on to see the abuse that’s also on there.

Nobody is donating because she was crying at a football match.

It's a result of vile comments directed towards her on social media. People calling her a "Nazi Slag" and other such comments.
