Gainsborough was the capital of both countries for 5 weeks in 1013.

Occasionally have to drive through Gainsborough on business and always refer to it as the land that time forgot.
Don`t think anything has changed since it was capital of both countries !!!

    Ooh, that’s worth a google. :)
Denmark also governs the Faroe Isles. & allows the annual slaughter of pilot whales.
That’s enough reason for me to knock them out the Euros. Get well soon Erik, you’ve had enough love from us. :)

Both of tonight’s goalkeepers made their professional debuts for the same club.

I used to go to Barnsley Tech. with Gainsborough Trinity player in 1970/71. I can't remember his name.

Former reds defender and England youth international Neil Austin, prior to Lockdown, played for Gainsborough. His dad Geoff is a big reds fan, travels with East Dene Reds.

Haha I was literally just about to ask the same thing. I'd put the wrong title though, so I'll leave it to the pros.

Anyway, my fiver tonight has gone on Mount to score from outside the box at 14s and Slabhead to scorer a header at 12s.

Would be funny if he was playing for us now. We’d have an Austin Morris partnership. Austin Allegro and a Morris Minor. Woooff!!
