I genuinely dont know what to say about policing in this country when a police force is moving so far away from protecting prioritizing protecting the public if anyone has any additional info that shows this is not as it seems from the original tweets I would be very relieved to see it, though I wont be holding my breath as @StatisTYKE says in his excellent post "A Story" we live in a different world today

Met police are a law unto themselves, always have been a political tool and always will be. You've got police doing this and number 10 saying who can be employed at BBC. A government who ignores court rulings what a time to be alive.
