    I wonder if £650k is our current budget.

    after covid we’ve only made money from Big Val’s move to West Brom reported to be 2mill

    supposedly we paid £300k for Schopp leaving us with 1.7mill

    And we posted a loss of £285k after player sales last year so if you deducted that as well which leaves us 1.415mill.

    considering we reportedly want to sign a left back and a midfielder that leave us £707,500 cash for each of them. Factor in agent fee and signing on bonus our budget for each player is likely the £650k we keep seeing reported. Unless of course we sign a free agent and put all the funds towards a player.

    You’ve only mentioned the compensation money for Val as our income. What about other incomings such as this season’s ticket money and tv money. Sponsorship etc? I’m sure our owners will be as careful with purse strings
