Didn't see that one coming! Good for the lads to get some competitive game time, all being well. Thought this might be a breakthrough season for Wolfe though
Gets them some game time and they’re all together sharing the experience. Hopefully it’ll be a good 6 months for them. Good luck lads.
Cracking idea, hopefully they will gain valuable experience in both football & life skills, wish them all good luck .
Yes, if you are that age it would be a great experience. Think this is a great idea. I guess if they get game time it may help us to sell them to a European club easier, which we need if we are to develop players IMO.
Esbjerg fB got thrashed 5-1 in a pre-season friendly a few days ago so they probably need a little more quality. Sounds like a win, win, win situation - let's hope it works out for all parties
Top place is Denmark. Very friendly young people, ahem, and of course the best Legoland in the world. Best of luck lads and I hope you all come back better equipped with "lifeskills" and possibly a Danish partner. Oh, and don't forget the irresistible Danish Bacon.
Looks like a sound move. Familiar faces will be a bonus. Especially given language barriers. Although I suspect most Danes have English as their second language.
Good luck lads. This is a big benefit of the owners owning other clubs. Our lads can go experience another country, lifestyle, language and way of life instead of pointless loans to English non league sides that are never a good thing for us to do.
The majority of Europeans can all speak better English than we can. It's one of our worse attributes that we can't communicate in other languages.
https://efb.dk/efb-styrker-truppen-yderligere/ It will be a good experience for all and I wouldn't be surprised to see at least some of them extended until the end of the season.
Having eaten what feels like several pigs in the last week down in Hereford/Shropshire... I'm not feeling the bacon vibe! Give me til the weekend!
Had this debate a few times. For a start, the majority of Europeans may have a smattering of English but they do not speak better English than us. However, I'll grant you that the Scandinavians and Dutch are exceptional. As for the English having a poor attribute, what language do you learn when everyone else's 2nd language is English? If a Pole speaks to a Scandinavian, they speak in English. I got GCEs in German and French but the only places in Europe where they are any use are France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. I've travelled all over the world and English is the language to learn. Fortunately or unfortunately for us that is our native tongue.
