    Cold light of day: Italy are in their 11th major final, we are in just the 2nd, and not since 1966.
    They are 33 unbeaten and very experienced, very motivated and have just as much their country's passionate support.

    I think they'll be too good for England and will run out 2-0 winners.

    Heart talking now: England on a wave of confidence, Southgate will have dissected the way the Italians play and will have at least 2 plans, Saka will run at them and provide for both Sterling and Kane to fire them in, Stonesy will make 2 goal line clearances, then pop up with a 94th minute header to seal a 3-0 win

    It’s about as close to a 50-50 as you can get. I do think we’ve got a better bench but at the same time they’re probably a bit more streetwise than us so I think if they get the first goal it’s harder for us to come back

    I can see a very tight game, but the longer it goes on, the more it favours England. Young team, and very strong bench. Italy's defence will tire. I'm going for 1-0 England. Genuinely think we'll do it. The fitness factor and home advantage will just tip it in our favour.

    I genuinely have no idea how this will pan out. I suspect if we let Italy attack & we get the ball to Sterling on the break we may win in 90 mins.

    Despite our options on the bench, as the game goes on Italy have less monkeys in the closet about penalties than we have.

    Italy were very lucky to get past Spain and looked dead on their feet at 80 mins. the longer the game goes the beta our chance so I think they will chuck the kitchen sink at us 1st half. if that fails it's ours to win or they will get 2-0 up and spend more time on the floor than the grass
