Arthur Holland ( according to Wiki) was the landlord of The Paddy in Kendray....his refereeing skills would have been very handy in there.

remember him well. Refereed me in a Sunday Youth match. I was very dismissive and got the shock of my life when I saw the old FIFA badge on his shirt! Lovely bloke.

Arthur Holland was the elder brother of my Uncle Fred, who married my dad's sister, Jean Gibson. As well as being a miner we was a pub landlord, but not sure which pub.
