L1 merchant. Been good there for the last few seasons but just moves around L1 clubs every season to whichever will pay him the most.
I'm disappointed because out of him, Downes, Erhahon and Dempsey. I thought he had the best credentials. I don't know whether I'm more disappointed that he's gone to Ipswich or we weren't even looking at a player who creates chances, assists and score goals to replace a player that created chances, assisted and scored goals.
Personally, old mate, I'm more interested on who we do sign. Just because the lad's name cropped up on transfer gossip doesn't mean that we're actually interested in him, or he's regarded by the club as being what we want. Fans can do it without repercussion, but it doesn't mean they're correct in their assessment.
He looks a good signing for Ipswich - if we weren’t interested, good luck to them. I thought he’d be a good replacement for Mowatt but so is Styles
If we were after him. He could be one of those we were glad opted for elsewhere. Eg QPR lad . Foggerisname.
