Be like the SPL without Rangers and Celtic.

Also loads of top Tongan and Fiji players are with NRL clubs. Can see it been cancelled in all honesty.

No surprise that Australia have pulled out. National TV was telling the people not to engage or speak to anyone they see in the street - 'now is not the time for talking to people' or words to that effect.

And the Australian Rugby Union team are coming to the UK at the same time as the world cup.

Tokyo are in a “state of emergency” but they’re sending athletes to an Olympic village where ppl are getting infected daily or they could send the rugby team here and they can “bubble here together like the football teams have during the euros!!

The whole idea of a Rugby league world cup,is a farce and has been since they created it. Lots of clubs have suggested they cancel it for the past few months, it's a pandemic, ticket sales are poor, too many other sport events going on.
The Rugby authorities and Super league are ruining Rugby league, we've talked on this forum before about the future of RL.

    It’s different than
the athletes and union team won’t have been away from family for months. These players are living in bubbles to avoid getting covid and would have to do the same for even longer.

As much as I love RL and was looking forward to the World Cup it should have been delayed. Aussies don’t give a **** about international game so wouldn’t need much of an excuse to cancel
