Feels a bit more real now away tickets are on sale for a game. Not sure we need categories though because even if we sell these out surely we would get more to sell. Surprised it's not just general sale from the off. Official coach setting off three and a half hours before the game is very early. Especially as fans won't be able to drink anywhere near the ground to pass time.
One thing I have been wondering about as I am getting close to the magic 60 and as long as the club keep the policy of allowing a seniors pass how does it work if you need to buy an under 65 away ticket but you have a Seniors season ticket when the rules say you cant buy a different category
Whatever the home team says. So Bolton says you aren't senior until 65 so early 60s who are senior for our home games will still be adult for away.
Absolutely dying to go to this one. Not done an away game since Charlton the season before last. Its been far too long.
Fingers crossed all goes well and this is a really popular game to attend. Very accessible, loads of tickets presumably available and an interesting match up. Has anyone been up Winter Hill which is a few miles from the ground? We had a go at it before a game at Bolton a few years back. On a clear day you can see the Manchester sky line, Blackpool Tower and the Welsh mountains. I'd imagine you can see many other things if you knew where to look and there's a decent pub down the road from where folk park up.
