    I like Woodrow a lot. Probably my favourite player. If he were to go, I'd just hope he manages to get one more goal for us to reach 50. A level very very few Barnsley players have managed to attain.

    I suppose now that our former CEO has departed someone has started a fire sale, but where is the fire?

    With 11,000 ST holders and money from Ismael and Chaplin there is no need to discount any player, especially those on long term contracts.
    I can't see Woodrow going just yet.

    Can you please explain with 8 days to go before the season starts why would sell Woodrow Helik & Styles ? There is absolutely nothing to base that on

    Wasn’t Brown sold after the season started last season? The domino effect of the transfer window will always take a while to result in bids for our players, that’s why Brown was sold so late last season and Moore the season before.

    Those three are probably our most valuable players on the transfer market, with two years left on contracts which is probably the height of their value. I’d be surprised if no bids came in, and our whole model is based on making a profit in the transfer market.

    This isn’t in anyway to have a go at the club, but I’d be surprised if a first teamer isn’t sold. I’d say Helik is most likely to be sold (we have kitching who can come into the left of a three and Andersen can go back into the middle), and Woodrow is least likely.
