Probably the best left back I saw as a kid growing up. A pity injuries curtailed his career as much as they did. Sad news. How many of that legendary Leeds side of the 70s have passed away in last 12 months or so? Hunter, Lorimer, Charlton, Bates and now Cooper…..
Mick Jones, Eddie Gray, Johnny Giles, Gordon McQueen, Joe Jordan, Frank Gray, Duncan Mckenzie. Some of those were slightly later that the legendary team but were around before it all fell apart after the 1975 European Cup final.
