    If it’s based on end of Cardiff last season performance it’s got draw written all over it.
    Only won something like 4 out of 15 but drew most

    Agreed mate, surely must change sooner or later.... Also this means that in all MY years there's only been ONE occasion when we've won away on the opening day of the season. Astounding (in a bad way) statistic o_O:eek:

    My most vivid memory of an opening day 4-0 was our home win against Shrewsbury following promotion to second division. Chick Bates in their line-up.

    BigLil will correct any errors of my recollection and tell us the year - I reckon about ‘83-84.

    Cardiff have quite an injury/covid list of players out - including Keeeeferrrr. Having said that I think our backline without Anderson and Sollbauer is a disaster zone, think we'll lose 3-2.

    That was the opening game of the 1981/82 season. We also beat Rochdale 4-0 at the start of 1977/78 & Oxford United by the same score at the beginning of 2018/19.
