I liked him but better than helik? Behave he did a job for us and always gave 100% lacked pace hence why sibbock played before him alot of games under val.

Incorrect. Wanted to stay, told to leave - family not being here not an issue.

Let's just say the source is about as legitimate as it gets

Obvious from his 1st game that he had what we really needed, and that was experience. class made up for pace until others caught up. sadly when they did he became surplus to requirements..
Wish him well in his future career, did a great job for us...

I think his 1st game we got hammered away in the cup against pompey was it 3-1 (woodrow scored from miles out) and I thought who have we signed here all the defence had a mare. But after that he was decent and looked assured. I think with val playing the highline he went for sibbock over him because he had pace. But I wish him.

I think Helik is solid but I don’t get this coronation of him as the second coming. He’s about as good as Liam Lindsay and if we are going to play out from the back he’s going to be massively exposed because he’s not much of a play it on the deck footballer.

I don't think anyone thinks he's the second coming, but he was rightly voted our player of the year. Helik is better in the air, better with the ball at his feet and a better distributor than Sollbauer. As of about February, he was the only defender in the football league who hadn't been 'dribbled past'. And he's a danger from set pieces.

I liked Sollbauer, he was dependable. He's now in his 30s and not likely to improve, I thought as much was evident last season to be honest. Letting him go made complete sense; he was likely to be 5th choice this season when everyone is fit, and it would be our last chance to recoup some of the money we spent on him.

Liam Lindsay is in my opinion, a league 1 centre half at best. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I honestly don't get how you can liken Helik to Lindsay, he's miles ahead of him.

Who do you think has looked good at playing the ball on the deck when we have tried to play like that? The last player I can think of is pinnock.

And I think helik is a better player than lindsay was but thats just my opinion.

One of the worst games I have seen, tippy tappy football out from the back, remember our fans in the Milton Road end screaming to Collins to just boot the goal kicks, at that time I was sure Anderson was one of the worst CB's we had ever had, he ain't done bad since though

I don't think you were alone with that opinion but to be fair to anderson I think it was the football he was asked to play that didn't suit him he's a decent defender just not great with the ball at his feet and don't get me started on the struber tactic of the keeper passing it sideways to the center back on goalkicks.
